Basic Septic Tank Maintance

                      BASIC SEPTIC TANK MAINTANCE

If you have a septic tank drainage problem we can help. Chase down any cash crunching septic tank problems and drainage issues before it is too late. There are preventive measures that people that are on septic tank drain fields and have septic tanks can implement to prevent costly sewer drainage problems. One of the most popular ways to prevent drain problems is to pump out your septic tank and remove all the sludge that has built up in the septic tank over the years. It is recommended to pump a septic tank about every 3-5 years or more depending on water usage.
Also filtering the solids that may get into the drainfield pipes is a recommended practice. The solids may clog the drain field lines and create an unpenetrateable layer that water cannot pass through therefore causing drainage problems.
Please do not pour grease down your sink drain!!! This is very bad for your septic tank and drain lines.
We hope this article may help you keep a healthy septic tank and drain field for years to come.
Please call with any questions we are ready to help.
